Team Member
We are seeking a full-time Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our clinical team. This unique position includes radiology tech duties, along with medical assistant duties. This position requires exceptional communication and multitasking skills, a positive friendly attitude, critical thinking ability, and a strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations using radiographic equipment, obtain clear and correct scans
- Prepare, position, and immobilize patients prior to conducting scans
- Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
- Document patient care services by charting in patient record
- Follow all radiological safety procedures and guidelines
- Operate and maintain medical equipment
- Perform medical assisting duties, including, but not limited to:
- Patient check-in: take vital signs, record chief complaint, update medication list, and document in HER
- Bring patients to exam room
- Prepare and give injections
- Venipuncture
- Clean and restock exam rooms
- Set up sterile trays
- Assist Providers in procedures such as EKG, Laser, Bone Density, and many other medical procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities as they arise
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in radiography or radiologic technology
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Medical assistant/phlebotomy experience preferred
- Excellent clinical and computer skills, experience using an EHR system preferred
- Strong customer service focus, genuine love for patient care
- Ability to work independently while closely coordinating with clinical staff
- Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment
- Participation in late night rotation
