Brandi Boone, WHNP-BC, CNM
Brandi is a women's health nurse practitioner and certified nurse-midwife and has been in practice for 12 years. She completed her nursing degree at Grand Valley State University in 2002 and completed her master’s degree in nurse-midwifery and women’s health in 2010 through the University of Cincinnati.
Throughout her years of practice as a midwife and nurse-practitioner she often questioned the “why” behind symptoms and disease and desired more options for her patients than what traditional medicine had to offer. She was drawn to functional medicine because the main objective is healing the body and reversing illness at the root cause.
She has received training in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She believes that every person is unique as is each person's road to wellness. There are often multiple areas of imbalance that can be addressed, and everything is connected, so healing in one area will oftentimes result in healing in other areas. Her areas of interest are hormonal health, fertility, and gut health.
Outside of work you will find Brandi working in her garden, doing yoga, or walking her dogs.

About Born Clinic
At Born Clinic, we are passionate about empowering our patients to have more control over their health, and challenge the idea of a “one-size-fits-all” model of medicine. Those under our care can expect their appointments to include detailed health intakes supported by up-to-date laboratory testing, and a focus on treatment and prevention through a prescribed combination of conventional medicine, pharmaceutical grade supplements, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, and osteopathic manipulations.
