Arkadiy Sarkisov joined Born Clinic in June of 2001. He received a degree in Physical Therapy from Azerbaijan State University of Physical Culture and Sport and obtained a certification in Medical Massage. Arkadiy continued his education by obtaining a certification in Medical Acupuncture from  Nizhny-Novgorod Medical University (Russia), one of the first universities in Russia to offer courses in acupuncture. He has extensive experience in the medical field since the beginning of his career in 1985, and acupuncture was added to his credentials in 1992.

In 1996, Arkadiy immigrated to the United States where he continued to practice both Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. While maintaining a thriving practice in the United States, Arkadiy pursued further education and earned a Master’s Degree in Chinese Acupuncture from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. He is a member the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Michigan Medical Acupuncture Association (MMAA), the American Medical Massage Association (AMMA), American Manual Medicine Association (AMMA), and National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

In addition to his classical education in acupuncture and massage therapy, Arkadiy has experience and training in infertility, menstrual and gynecological disorders, as well as gastrointestinal, neurological, and respiratory disorders.
